DAN McCARTNEY
Professor of New Testament Interpretation
Dr. Dan McCartney has been married to his wife Kathy for 40 years. They have 2 children, Christopher and Cara. Dr. McCartney enjoys reading Tolkien and C.S Lewis. Dr. McCartney also enjoys playing the french horn. His under graduate major was in musical performance at Carnegie Mellon University. He has been a member of the Westminster Brass Band for 35 years, performing at conferences, weddings, and even doing a concert at Graterford Prison in Pennsylvania. They have had 8 composers that have written pieces specifically for his quintet. Dr. McCartney also enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife Kathy. They have hiked several national parks including Yellowstone and Yosemite.
