Redeemer Seminary is proud to announce Jason Bobo as our new Vice President for Student Affairs, Admissions, and Alumni.
As the Dean of Students, Jason will strive to see Redeemer’s emphasis on spiritual formation take root among the student body, faculty, and staff. He hopes to help the recruitment staff to find students who are hungry not just for depth of doctrine, but also for relational ministry, and want to answer God’s call to missional, sacrificial living.
One of Redeemer’s priorities is to foster depth of community and relationships among the student body. Jason is excited at the prospect of extending this sense of community to Redeemer alumni in order to continue serving them in their present ministries.
Jason received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Education from Grand Canyon University in 2000 and his Master of Divinity from Westminster-Dallas in 2009. An ordained teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America, Jason has worked in youth ministry and for Reformed University Fellowship as a campus minister at Arizona State University. He also served as Redeemer’s first Director of Recruitment, from January 2009 to June of 2010.
Jason, an avid fan of The Lord of the Rings and the Texas Rangers, currently attends New Saint Peter’s Presbyterian Church with his wife Tiffany and his four children, Cason, Justus, Shaylee, and Garrison.
We are excited to welcome Jason back to Dallas and look forward to seeing him exercise his gifts for the benefit of our student community.
